This medallion is curved to fit over the power button on the dash.
Looks like the original US gold coin piece in use from 1908 to 1929.
Add a small dab of waterproof silicone and apply to button.
Be sure to let silicone cure overnight.
For more rigid mounding you can use double sided foam tape.
